I know this has nothing to do with quilts, but I have a goal of trying one new recipe a week and posting it here. The recipes I like are simple and (mostly) healthy, or at least healthyish. So feel free to follow along if you’re into that! 🙂
So here we go, homemade chocolate syrup sans the (granulated) sugar. (I know that maple syrup has sugar!) It only has 4 ingredients….. maple syrup, cocoa, water and vanilla. Seriously. And it’s good. And it’s not that processed stuff with 50 ingredients that’s been sitting on a shelf for weeks.
We’ve tried it in milk and it makes really good chocolate milk. We’re trying it on some vanilla ice cream tonight after dinner. I’ll let you know how it goes!
So here’s to the kids getting a little more chocolate milk and you feeling a little less guilty!
