Chevron Dining Room Curtains

chevron dining room curtains

This is not the best picture in the world, but then, I’m not the best photographer, so there you go. But I think you get a good enough idea.

We have lived in our house for 8.5 years and until about a month ago the windows in our dining room have been bare. I’ve always wanted to do something with them, but have never wanted to pay someone a bunch of money and I’ve been intimidated to make them myself….. until now! 🙂

I know there are people out that there that hate chevron, but I love it. And that’s what I wanted. So I Googled “chevron curtains” and totally hit the jackpot. I found the best tutorial. I am not a fan of working with large pieces of material, but this tutorial honestly made it easy. I almost enjoyed making them, and I would totally do it again.

This project may not be for the neat freak. Just take a peek at my sewing room/guest room/playroom. See my little helper? 😉

If you’ve been wanting to make curtains, do it! Seriously, it is not that hard. If I can do it, anyone can!
